New to AYNEHA? Follow these five steps in order. Each one takes a few minutes, everything works in your browser, and you can come back at any time.
AYNEHA is written and read from right to left, letters and digits alike.
-
1
Recognise the letters
Five vowels, then twenty-two consonants. Look at each letter, say its name in your head, and spot the ones that look alike.
-
2
Understand the diacritics
A diacritic changes the letter: nasalised or open vowel, double letter, silent consonant. Only one diacritic per character.
-
3
Read syllables
A consonant followed by a vowel makes a syllable: the consonant is on the right, the vowel on its left.
-
4
Read words
Type words you know into the transcriber, in Latin letters, and see how they are written in AYNEHA, letter by letter.
-
5
Write a sentence
Write a greeting or a wish and turn it into a card for your family and friends. On a phone, install the keyboard to write everywhere.
