Latin → AYNEHA transcriber
Write Songhay in Latin letters, the way you pronounce it: the text is written in AYNEHA as you type. Nothing is sent over the internet; everything happens in your browser.
Letters missing from your keyboard:
Copied text only appears in AYNEHA for people who have the Ayneha Pro font. To send it on WhatsApp or elsewhere, an image is safer: it can be read everywhere.

How to type in Latin letters
The transcriber follows the pronunciation of the Songhay of Gao. A few landmarks are enough.
Important: the transcriber applies automatic rules. It does not replace a linguistic check of each word; if in doubt, have the result checked.

| a consonant not followed by a vowel | the silent consonant |
